California Rapper, Big Brimstone Set to Release New Mixtape Hosted by Three DJs

Taking Out The Garbage Now Available For Free Download

Richmond, CA – February 17, 2010 — Armed with confidence, Iron Triangle recording artist, Big Brimstone of Richmond, CA is set to release his lyrically controversial mixtape, Takin’ Out The Garbage hosted by three DJs, each representing a region of the United States. The mixtape is available for free download on www.Datpiff.com via his website www.BigBrimstone.com.

Lyrically noted for his truth- felt lines and witty personality, the theme for Takin’ Out The Garbage, produced by Richmond’s own Mel Linnium is a clear challenge to mainstream and underground artists. The mixtape is a great representation of Big Brimstone’s influences musically and in life. Songs like “Brim Talk About Something” samples Jay Z’s “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” but Brimstone brings a unique vibe to the track with his anti- commercialistic lyrics.

“Qualified” featuring Deltrice is Brimstone’s first single since his album Juggernaut released in 2004. “It took eight years to return because I was being selfish. Doing what I needed to do instead of what I was blessed to do,” Big Brimstone confesses.

Wanting to appeal to a larger audience, he approached DJ’s E Dubble representing Boston, Massachusetts, Nashville, TN’s S. Dott and Shabazz representing the Bay Area to make a connection with listeners and appeal to a greater audience. Brimstone explains, “I can’t touch theses areas without the DJ’s. So to spread the music throughout, I presented them with the idea. They were able to add their own interpretations of how Takin’ Out The Garbage should rock, which really gave it a personal touch.”

Recently Brimstone teamed up with rhyming partner, Laroo Tha Hard Hitta of Timeless Music Inc. to shoot the video for “Lights, Camera, Action” featured on Laroo’s album Star Power/ G-Mode. The video was showcased on a number of online websites, but received over 84,000 views on WorldStarHipHop.com within two weeks of its release.

Big Brimstone is available for interviews.

For copies of Takin’ Out The Garbage hosted by DJ E Dubble, media request or booking contact OSO Imaging.
