“I Fux Wit U” featuring “Snoop Dogg” is Richie Rich’s latest offering as a precursor to his brand new album “Town Bidness,” (Feb 2 2010) a street album designed to recapture his hard core fans.

The intellectual yet gritty flow Rich possesses glides over the tracks as he tells stories about real life issues in the form of street game. “Town Bidness” features fellow West Coast rappers Snoop Dogg, B-Legit and Erk The Jerk, solidifying Rich’s ties to the rap game. He deploys a wide array of production offering a broad appeal that will lure hard core rap fans and even the most technical of Hip Hop fans. This album is just the first installment in a series of 3 albums slated to release in 2010 via Rich’s label TenSix Records with distribution through Urban Music Alliance. There is a new sherrif in town….well, not quite so new and his name is Richie Rich.

Richie Rich needs no introduction, his classic Def Jam album “Seasoned Veteran” was #11 on the Billboard charts, and is permenantly engrained in our brains. While he has been out of the public eye the rap veteran has been busy cultivating new talent under his independent label TenSix Records, writing and producing for several acts, as well as constructing a state of the art recording studio in Emeryville, CA called The Grill. Creatively Rich keeps his edges sharp collaborating on several tracks and mixtapes with legendaries like Snoop Dogg, Mac 10, and Cash Money artist Glasses Malone . Rich also had some projects brewing with the late Shakir Stewart, who was VP of Def Jam. Shakir was also a native of the Bay Area (Oakland, CA) and it was a great loss for Rich, as the two shared a very close bond. Linked to some of the best producers and artists in the game, it was their plan to execute a solo album and shop the final product to a major pipeline. Rich mourned the loss of his dear friend and recognized that the shift in the music industry is now geared towards the independent movement placing value in independent distribution, and he is ready to release his new project independently.

Over the course of his absence Rich has accumulated a vault of tracks that include collaborations with several fellow rap legendaris, as well as beats and projects that he and Shakir worked on. Richie Rich now digs into his vault to combine unreleased and new tracks culminating in a meticulously orchestrated series of albums branded under “Town Bidness.”
