West Coast Veteran Rapper Yukmouth, formerly from the rap groups Luniz, Thug Lordz, & The Regime, recently just dropped his highly anticipated 5th solo album on July 14 2009. The album contains his hit single known as “I’m a Gangsta” (Free Download) which featured chorus vocals by Dyson, a vocal verse by Ray J, and a verse by rapper Crooked I. The WestCoast Don is an album that brings back west coast gangsta rap music and everything that the west side stood for from the beginning such as the uprise of the pimpin’ culture, the Gangsta/Mob rap music, & the classic smooth R&B Rap but in a new modern way. The album includes all artists from the West Coast (except T-Pain) such as Crooked I, Mistah F.A.B., Ray J, Keak Da Sneak, Dru Down, Glasses Malone, The Jacka, Baby Bash, The Regime, & many more (view the tracklisting below for more features). The production for the album was handled mainly by Dame Grease, P-Killer Trackz, & Traxamillion. Overall, this album has the same Yukmouth style as his previous solo albums but with more of a West Coast feel to it. It is definatly a positive cobat for the West Side that the fans will appreciate so go out and support the CD and cop it!
